You can download the jigsaw puzzles to your local computer. This is a good solution for people who are connected to the internet on slower dialup lines.
Help to play the jigsaws
Using your mouse, click and hold on each jigsaw piece you want to move.
With your mouse button still held down, drag and drop each piece to the place you want it to go.
If you have put it in the right place in the jigsaw, it will snap into place and you won’t be able to move it again. Keep going until all the pieces are in place!
More information
High resolution is high image quality with good clarity, ideal for broadband Internet connection. Low resolution is smaller image files for faster download, better for slower dialup connections.
The time taken to fully load the online puzzles in your browser will vary depending on a number of factors including your internet connection, file size, ISP load, server responsiveness, etc. The average file size is 25KB. This may take several minutes to load on dialup lines.
When you finish the puzzles, you might like to try the memory game or learn more about the images used in the jigsaws.
The jigsaw puzzles and the memory game were developed for the State Library of Queensland by LiquidAnimation [new window] a local Brisbane multimedia supplier.
